Hello,
Next week my computer will be sent to the manufacturer and certainly a reset will be done. I own FSFS for FSX, P3D and XP11 : what is the correct procedure to reinstall the corresponding softwares ? Are the initial keys still available ?

Hi again gerodcray:
You just need to install a full version of FSFlyingSchool (not an upgrade) first - then install any the upgrades even if they are for other simulators.
The keys you bought are still valid for the products they license - simply use the keys you bought. 
If you need to discuss specific keys in detail then this must be done privately - please contact support@FSFlyingSchool.com as the keys are of course private - they are your property.

Hello,
Thank you for answering. I just received my PC with new W10. If I purchase the 2019 update will I get a complete setup file ? I lost the previous setup file but not the keys ? I think I don't need this previous file but I am not sure.

No. You must first have FSFlyingSchool installed and registered on the PC before you buy an upgrade or it will not work.

Hello,
Now my PC has no trace of previous FSFS installations : does it mean I have to buy again the complete software ? I have this problem only for XP11 as I have found the setup files for FSX and P3D in the external HDD I used for backup before sending the PC to the manufacturer. It is not a big problem if I have to purchase again the soft for XP11, it was just a question.

Hello,
I had also to install again P3Dv4 and the corresponding FSFS setup file was also lost. I bought the complete 2019 version and everything was OK excepted for the runways database to be read from P3Dv4 folders. The message was "Failed to make FStarRCRWS file'. Thank you for explaining what to do for correcting this.

Hi:
A small number of folks have experienced this issue - this will solve it...
- If you don't have add-on runways you can skip this - FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4 comes with its own standard data and there is no need to generate more.
- This issue affects the latest versions of P3D - if you are not experiencing a problem - please leave your installation of FSFlyingSchool just like it is.
- If you are having problems 'generating runway data' with FSFlyingSchool...
At present it would appear that if the free 'Lorby Prepar3D V4 Addon Organizer' is downloaded
from here...
http://www.lorby-si.com/downloads.html
and installed...
and then the latest version of the free MAKERWYS.EXE is downloaded from here...
http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
and placed into both the FSFlyingSchool folder and the main Prepar3D folder
and then FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4 is launched and
'Generate runway data for P3D' is chosen...
...both MAKERWYS.EXE will run to completion
AND
'FSFlyingSchool runway data' will also run to completion...
at which point - the task is complete!
If your system is working fine - please leave it alone - we don't want to create problems on a working simulator.
We are working on what will be the next step to make this rather more straightforward - and automating as much as we can.

Hello,
Thank you for the procedure. At the moment I use the default P3D v4.5 but in a few days my ORBX database will be installed. It means I have to complete the procedure you have indicated, but I guess after each new addon I install ?

Hi again:
When any runways are added FSFlyingSchool must be told as explained in the manual - this is so that FSFlyingSchool will use the data for the added runways when examining your approaches, etc.
All you need to do is install your add-ons and then finally perform the operation I described yesterday.
If, later on, you add something else relating to runways, you only need to make sure...
"FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4 is launched and 'Generate runway data for P3D' is chosen..."
