I haven't tried it yet, but will it work with FSX missions? That would be a neat one.

You can use it at the same time as FSX missions - no problem in my experience. They do not interact with each other, but you get both at the same time, as it were. Things can get very chatty up there in the cockpit...

If these could be prioritised the most important would be: Even if you crash - perform analysis of flight and of crash
Frustrating when things fall to pieces and you can't figure out what went wrong (that's why the black box was introduced into real planes).

Hi, the helicopter support would be very interesting and would add more value to FSFS but I understand it's a major difficulty. It would be much simpler, instead of instructors speaking other languages (How many?) just the possibility to read what the instructor says. For most of non native english speaking the pronounciation is the real problem. Regards Calama

rhalko (1/9/2009) How about monitoring of correct ATC communications and responses.
I agree and think that a better and wider grasp of correct ATC procedure is something almost all virtual pilots can benefit from and in general terms the more interactive the exchange between pilot and instructor the better.
Personally I run 3 x flat 22" screens with an nVidia 8800 GTX via a MATROX Digital Edition plus Track IR Pro 4 and so wide screen support is key although I can't quite see what difference multi-screen makes to flight instruction from the instructor's perspective. Track IR means that I can lean out of the cockpit and look over the side however which is excellent for enhanced situational aweness in VFR flying and improving one's forward view during take-off and landing in some tail draggers. It also means that no instrument in the cockpit is obscured as I can look "around" and "under" things.
"The realm may be virtual but the experience is always real."
Quad CPU, 4GBRAM, nVidia 8800GTX, Xi-Fi Fatal1ty, MATROX TripleHead2Go, 3 x 22", 1TB HD. CH Pedals, SAITEK-ProYoke, GC Unit, quadrant x 2, SwitchPanel, LP8000, P2500. Logitech-F3D ProStick, G25 wheel, StickShift, pedals, HOTAS Cougar, A4 GeniusTablet

Monitoring correctly following a flightplan like for example staying at assigned altitude. And correctly performed procedures for a VFR flight.

I think it would be great if there were some canned instruction (flight lessons that could be added) this way you could be prompted through a task, scored on your performance, then after you felt confident you could expand to more complicated planes and task to be scored on and see what you have learned.
