I have just bought FSFlyingSchool 2018 and when I try and press connect the program just crashes.
X-Plane 11 is the steam version and I am using Windows 8.
The contents of my settings.ini file are

Hi:
Thanks for your interest in FSFlyingSchool 2018 for X-Plane 11 and 10.
I am sure we can solve this for you. 
I have some questions and points...
. The issue may be caused by security software blocking the actions of FSFlyingSchool - it may be necessary to tell your PC's security software to let FSFlyingSchool run without any blocking actions.
. I can see that the Voice Command Pack is turned on - please change the setting at the Settings Screen of FSFlyingSchool so that the Voice Command Status is OFF and then exit FSFlyingSchool. This will ensure that the status is saved as OFF. Then try to connect again so that we can determine if Voice Command is a factor.
. Do you hear the instructor when you press 'Listen to Instructor' at the Aircraft screen of FSFlyingSchool?
. It is likely that the PC has several different sound cards which can be selected at the Settings Screen of FSFlyingSchool. Try each one, and save each one at that screen as you then test each one to see if you can connect. It is likely that only one of the cards will function with FSFlyingSchool.
