Hi,
I have just installed FSFS and managed to connect it properly to my x-plane.
My understanding is that it's basically an instructor next to me, telling me what I am doing wrong -- or right.
My idea is to pair up:

With FSFS to know if I am doing it right or not.
My question is: is *this* what FSFS is? Or, is there a mode where:
* The instructor decides what I am going to learn
* I need to follow the instructions
As it would happen in a "lesson" as such?

Hi Merc:
The main goal of our product FSFlyingSchool is to provide instructors who will fly with you anywhere in the world and evaluate your performance in over 70 different areas with fully recorded details.
As many simulators come with an extensive set of detailed lessons, we have not duplicated them, but rather have provided a much greater level of detail in the analysis of airmanship.
The problem with the lessons is that they can only be performed in the location and aircraft they are scripted for. They also make only the most basic attempt to record what the pilot did wrongly and do not begin to analyse the pilot's performance in anywhere near the degree of detail that FSFlyingSchool uses.
But - they do give you flying lessons, just like those you'd get from a real instructor.
Our pilots have found that both systems complement each other well.
Novices can learn the basics of how to taxi, take off and land using the simulator lessons and then start flying with FSFlyingSchool. 
Finally - the most important thing is to read the manuals installed on your PC when you install the product. There are several of them and they are there for a reason.
FSFlyingSchool does scores of things that are unique in the flight simulation hobby and any notion that the user will simply 'know' what they are and how to use them is, frankly, unrealistic.
It would make about as much sense as for a person with no flying experience to jump into an airplane and expect to safely fly it.
